How do you do! My name is Trey Staz, also known as Kit. Twenty-One years old and easily distracted, I'm an Oregonian by birth, a New Jersey resident, and I currently live in New York City. I'm studying Japanese because I am a masochist with an interest in fiscal policy. Japan represents an interesting case study for a nation with a plausible reason to oppose unilateral free trade as a matter of sovereignty, which I think is a very interesting concept. I'd love to discuss this with somebody, but I think I might be the only person who cares about stuff like that. I'm a bit of a geek, but not enough of a geek to learn Japanese because I like their media exports. I was waffling between Japanese and Ancient Greek or Linear B; Japanese seems a lot more marketable, in that regard.
Japanese vis-a-vis learning it has been a fun experience. I feel like my comprehension is still fairly low, but I try to practice a few hours a day and annoy my friends and loved ones with butchered Japanenglish slang. I guess it's working, but it's still very early in the four-semester process. If I'm lucky, I'll be passably conversational before 2022.
Thanks for your time, dear reader, and I'm excited to speak to you again soon.
P.S. If you know where my url comes from, you get ten bonus points.
Hi!I feel pretty fine in these days . My name is Yuji Tsukuma, Ritsumeikan University student. I am nine-teen years old, and I'm from kyoto in Japan.
ReplyDeleteI am studying English hard now because I'd like to get a job in foreign country. And I'd like to communicate with foreign country people.
Thank you for contacting me. I want to talk with you more.
Nice to meet you, Yuji Tsukuma. Thanks for your comment. Do you want to work in the U.S., or in a different country?
ReplyDeleteInterested to hear from you in the future.
yes I would like to get a job in foreign country if i have an opportunity to go. Do you have a dream?
ReplyDeleteVery good question. That's hard. My dream is to have a happy, sleepy life with at least three cats. It's a simple dream, but it's my dream.
DeleteIt's a great dream. How do you make a happy life? Do you have three cats now?
ReplyDeleteI have two cats now. I hope to get a third cat next year. That is my plan to make a happy life.
DeleteI hope you find studying Japanese to be fulfilling and that you learn many great things along the way to your degree in Columbia.
ReplyDeleteThanks for reading. Japanese has been fun so far, but it takes a lot of work to learn.
